I’m immersed in the world of coding 👨‍💻, striving to develop digital innovations and craft algorithms

Languages:

Ever since that 4th grade class I took on Arduino robot cars, I have always been fascinated about technology and the way computers function. From playing with MakeyMakey and creating musical circuits with bananas using Scratch coding, to developing mobile applications launched in the Apple Store and applying my IB Computer Science (HL) learnings of alpha and beta testing, I have consistently engaged with the field of coding.

Python coding

Over the past year, I have been working on a project for my IB Computer Science research, where I coded a food and exercise tracker. This project originated from the global issue of child obesity. My initial idea was to create a smartwatch for children to wear that displays a metaverse avatar of themselves, enabling them to observe changes in their body as they exercise or consume food.

<aside> 💡 For now, I have streamlined this idea into a simple tracker, but in the future, I aspire to advance this smartwatch to address child obesity through technology in the digital realm.

To code this tracker, I taught myself the GUI interface Kivy in Python and also learned the skills to create databases using SQL server.
